Back-End Web-Development Freelancer .Closing 01 Mar 2019.

We are looking for a full-stack or back-end web developer to help bring a virtual reality (VR) app to life. You will be building an automated billing system and web service for our content preprocessing system.

This is a green field project, where you will be given the ability to choose the technology stack that best fits the job, whether building upon our current python and C# stack or bringing another set of technologies in. We are looking for someone with strong software engineering skills, committed to test-driven development and continuous integration, and ready to code-review across the team. Familiarity with Google Cloud is an advantage but not essential.

This is a 2 month gig for a freelance developer. You could either work remotely, in our offices in Guildford, or a combination depending on what suits best. Further gigs or an option for employment may follow as the company develops.

Data-Science Internship .Closing 31 Mar 2019.

We are looking for creative, intelligent, technical people to join KageNova as an intern over Spring/Summer 2019 to develop artificial intelligence (AI) techniques for virtual reality (VR). You will work closely with our data science research team to develop new foundational machine learning (ML) techniques, as well as to apply state-of-the-art ML techniques to new application areas.

The position would ideally suit a current or finishing PhD student working in the computational sciences (e.g. computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, or statistics). Experience in machine learning is an advantage but is not essential. Strong coding skills are essential.

KageNova does not believe in unpaid internships. You will be compensated fairly at a level commensurate with your experience. You will be based in our Guildford offices. In some cases a contribution to your travel costs may also be possible.

Marketing Internship .Closing 31 Mar 2019.

We are looking for a creative, intelligent, artistic person to join KageNova as an intern over Spring/Summer 2019 to help develop our marketing strategy and social media presence. You will also help to develop promotional material in the form of blog posts and educational videos.

The position would suit an advanced undergraduate, Masters or PhD student studying in the arts or business (although other backgrounds are also welcomed). Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.
